The phrase “good fortune” might sound more like something from a fortune cookie than from Scripture, but the concept behind it is deeply biblical. We all want things to go well in our lives.
We hope for success, provision, health, and favor. The question isn’t whether it’s okay to want these things, but how we should approach God about them and what our expectations should be.
